The Future of the Cottage

Short Term Objectives

Our objectives are, very simply, to work with Stafford Borough Council to keep the cottage open to the public and to increase its accessibility

As you can see elsewhere, the times when the Cottage is open are currently very limited

Medium Term Objectives

This is a site of international as well as national and local importance: so the Chapter will raise its profile overseas and nationally as a building which epitomises the writings and beliefs of Izaak Walton.

Long Term Objectives

To work with Stafford Borough Council to enhance the capacity and content of the Cottage to a level appropriate to that of a site of world-wide significance.

Things never stay the same. If we do not move upwards, we will certainly move downwards. We are determined that, with your help, this will not be the case.
